Another DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener

DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener #194: Geoff Huish

Most guys have used (or at least thought) the expression, “Man, I’d give my left nut for [insert desired result here]”. Anyone with ANY sense, however, would immediately recognized the rhetorical nature of that statement and leave it at that. Apparently, our latest intrepid DUMB@$$ knows no such boundaries. It’s one of the oldest rules in the book: alcohol, sharp objects, and DUMB@$$E$ generally do NOT coexist well. Throw questionable mental stability into the mix, and…well, let’s just say much hilarity (and in this case, much loss of blood) is sure to ensue, and quickly at that.

Are you sure this guy isn’t a Philadelphia Eagles fan?

Uh…don’t you have to be a doctor to perform this sort of surgery? Or can any DUMB@$$ with a sharp knife and enough alcohol in his system do it themselves? Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of….

Perhaps this is why our mothers always warned us never to run with a pair of scissors in our hands.

Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday’s match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, “If Wales win I’ll cut my balls off,” the paper said.

Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking.

But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 metres back to the bar with the testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done.

Huish was taken to hospital where he remained in a seriously ill condition, the paper said. Police told the paper he had a history of mental problems.

Gee, really? You think? And your first clue was….?

Man, it hurts just to think about this, and I’ll best most of my male readers silently cringed as they read of Huish’s exploits. While I can understand that Huish may well be a man of his word, someone should probably have pointed out to him that he might have had a use for those testicles at some point.

Of course, the good news in this scenario is that Huish won’t be breeding anytime soon. I suppose that, on some level, we should all be grateful for that.

OUCH….
