Don't cry for me, Carly Fiorina

Fiorina out, HP stock soars: CEO who engineered Compaq merger leaving after fight with board; will walk away with $21 million.

MY NEW HERO #3: Carly Fiorina

So Carly Fiorina finally finds herself out of a job? Hmm…somehow, methinks that the talented and eminently capable Ms. F is hardly wondering where her next Big Mac is coming from. Nope, ain’t nobody gonna be starvin’ in the Fiorina household anytime soon, eh?

One does have to feel sorry for the anonymous Mr. Fiorina, being the sole breadwinner in the house now….

Of course, can anyone really say they were fired when they walk away with $21 million? Jeez, how can I get a piece of THAT action??

Memo to anyone out there with more money than sense: if you can see your way to pay me $21 million, I will leave so fast the door wouldn’t hit me in the @$$ on the way out of town. Hell, I’d be so far gone so fast you couldn’t find me with a map, a flashlight, and the FBI.

Apparently, the rich really ARE different: they get paid HUGE amounts to simply disappear when they $&%# up. Man, how can I $&%# up like that??? I’d $&%# up like no one has ever $&%#ed up before….

Update: Thanks to Bob for the “slightly altered” photo of the aforementioned Ms. Fiorina!
