What a (not so) long, strange trip it's been....

TODAY IN HISTORY: 1968- Major League Baseball announces the minimum salary would be $10,000.

Yeah, things have changed a bit, eh?

I keep thinking of a variation on the old Vietnam War-era protest posters: It will be a great day when a professional baseball player has to go to a bank to take out a loan in order to buy an Escalade.
