Please tell me I’m not the only one seeing this…. Is it just me, or does this picture of the new World Trade Center replacement unit look like New York City is flipping us all off? Surely I’m not the only one to see this…the knuckles, the upraised middle finger??

So the US wants to "send a message" with the building's height...in FEET. Great. Uh, except that the rest of the world moved on to metric decades ago, so the actual message of "1776 feet" will not be "the US is free" but "the US is archaic."

Better to leave the site in grass and trees and peace -- the people who died there deserve better than this.
