Another DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener

Minister’s wife charged with soliciting minor

DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener #326: Amanda White

I know, the young, lonely housewife sleeping with teenage boys thing is WAY overdone. It’s tired and overused and not even particularly interesting anymore. It’s so overdone, that I figured someone would have to find a different angle in order to qualify for a DUMB@$$ AWARD. Then Amanda White came along. Man, talk about increasing the degree of difficulty. A small-town ministers’ wife, a mother, AND a DUMB@$$. That’s an almost unbeatable combination, don’tcha think??

Most adults who want to engage in any sort of sexual activity with underage boys would be fairly discreet about it. Hey, they know it’s wrong, and the fear of discovery can be strong. Still, a good DUMB@$$ always gives in to the Dark Side. Late night phone calls, rendezvous in dark, out of the way places, plausible deniability. The last thing most of these folks would want is to leave any sort of written incriminating evidence. Not Amanda White. No, she was quite open about her illicit carnal desires, and being a DUMB@$$, was not particularly careful or discreet. What could possibly go wrong?

BURNET ‚Äö√Ñ√Æ A youth minister’s wife has been accused of posing as a teenage girl for months and sending dozens of letters to a 15-year-old in which she asked him to have sex, authorities said.

Investigators say Amanda White, 27, had phone sex with the teen, left him bras, underwear, condoms and personal lubricant. White was charged Nov. 9 with criminal solicitation of a minor, a third-degree felony.

Police say the teenage boy discovered the admirer he knew as Mandy was White, the wife of the youth minister at Victory Baptist Church in Burnet and a mother. He told his mother, who contacted authorities, said Burnet police Capt. Paul Nelson.

Officers found 50 to 75 handwritten letters and cards that White wrote to the boy, according to the affidavit. They were written during the summer, Nelson said.

The teenager said he would go to White’s home to pick up letters he thought his admirer had left for him. He told police that Mandy called frequently and that he thought they were going to meet for sex, the affidavit said.

White told investigators she started writing the teenager for fun after seeing a photo of him on a friend’s cell phone. She told investigators that she knew the boy was a minor and that it was wrong to write him graphic letters, according to the affidavit.

Duh…. Hey, no problem, it’s a small town, and you’re the ministers wife? Who could possibly find scandal in that? Having married the ex-wife of a Methodist minister, I’ve heard too many stories of the busybodies, the nosy, and those who scrutinize your every move, outfit, and hairstyle. How in the world Ms. DUMB@$$ White thought she would ever get away with her little seduction game is difficult to fathom. Then again, that’s why she’s a DUMB@$$, no?
