Satellite photographs on the Internet are hardly a new phenomenon, but this Live Local thing is downright frightening. The picture below is a “bird’s-eye” virtually of our neighborhood and our humble abode in Seabrook. If you look at the picture, you can see the green awning over our deck, and that could be Salem the Wonder Dog in the backyard.
There is something both exciting and vaguely creepy about this picture of our house being so readily available with a few keystrokes. It’s not like I worry about being stalked or anything (like anyone would waste that much energy on me and my family), but my anonymous existence apparently isn’t nearly as anonymous as I might previously have thought.
