Johnny Damon in Yankee pinstripes? C’mon…the next thing you know, they’ll be telling us that Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) is holding funding for our troops in Iraq hostage unless the Senate votes to allow drilling in ANWR. That would NEVER happen…would it??
Man…Red Sox fans are probably having to double up on their heart medication this morning. Whodathunkit? This is the baseball equivalent of Fidel Castro running for Governor of Florida…or George W. Bush coverting to radical Islam. If nothing else, the Yankees-Red Sox series just became a wee bit wierder. When the Yankees come to Fenway Park this season, Damon is going to have to patrol center field in a hard hat and a flak jacket.
And did anyone tell Damon about George Steinbrenner’s no-long-hair, no-facial-hair policy?
