Texas upset No. 1 USC 41-38 in Wednesday night’s Rose Bowl to win its first national title since 1970. Both offenses were virtually unstoppable as USC gained 574 yards and Texas 556. In all, it was the most scoring seen in Los Angeles since Wilt Chamberlain played for the Lakers.
