Activist changes name to Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com
I’m sure Chris can’t wait ‘til KFC stops torturing chickens so he can change his name back.

I applaud anyone whose passionate commitment to a cause would lead him or her to take actions that the rest of us might blanch at. Not everyone is cut out for a life of activism. Nonetheless, when someone is so committed to the cause of bringing shame to KFC that they legally change their name to…wait for it…Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com…it might just be time for said DUMB@$$ to perhaps find another diversion.
Passion and commitment are laudable qualities, when properly focused. Garnett’s personal protest, though, has flown right past the exit to Ridiculous and is speeding down the fast lane on the Expressway to the Sublime. Yes, kids…observe carefully and quietly, for we do not want to disturb the (not so) rare and beautiful DUMB@$$ in it’s native environment….
Chris Garnett, youth outreach co-ordinator for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta), said he changed his name in suport of the group’s anti-KFC campaign.
“People don’t believe me at first when I tell them my name, but it never fails to spark a discussion, KentuckyFriendCruelty.com, said.
“Many vow to boycott KFC after I explain the company’s indifference to cruelty to animals.
Peta’s complaints against KFC stem from video footage shot last year recording alleged mistreatment of birds at a Pilgrim’s Pride plant in Moorefield, West Virginia. The plant is a KFC supplier.
Yum! Brands, the parent company of KFC, has disputed the claims of mistreatment.
In June, a grand jury refused to indict former workers at the West Virginia chicken plant.
Kinda makes you wonder what would happen if Garnett was protesting female hygiene products responsible for Toxic Shock Syndrome, doesn’t it?
Hello, I’d like you to meet my friend, Tampaxkills.com…. Whatever….
And PETA wonders why so many folks view them as complete nut jobs? Well, for the answer to that question, you might ask Mr. Kentuckyfriedcruelty.com.
