Steamed about Rice, Russian pol unleashes rant

Condi Rice’s politics may be somewhat to the right of Genghis Khan, and her choice of Presidents to hitch her star to may lead some to question her judgement, but somehow I think the woman could get a date if she wanted to. That Vladimir Zhirinovsky seems to have pronounced difficulties with a brilliant African-American woman who speaks fluent Russian and could probably drink him under the table is nothing if not an indication of what a misogynistic DUMB@$$ Zhirinovsky truly is. Yep, ‘tis better to be suspected of being a complete DUMB@$$ than to be Vladimir Zhirinovsky and remove all doubt. ‘Course, diplomacy and grace under pressure have never been qualities anyone has ever accused Zhirinovsky of possessing in abundance. Nor has anyone suspected Zhirinovsky of being anything more than a well-below-average intellect- though he is without a doubt a well-above-average blowhard, bigot, and demagogue. Yep, if Vladimir Zhirinovsky were an American, he’d be Bob Dornan.
Spending an afternoon inside Zhirinovsky’s head would be the mental equivalent of a trip to Neverland Ranch- only with a lot of bad vodka and too many nuclear weapons. Zhirinovsky lives in a world all his own, and while he is quite impressed with himself, most Russians, and certainly almost everyone outside of Russia, recognize him for the loon, the blowhard, and the DUMB@$$ he truly and irredeemably is.
Condoleezza Rice might want to see if there’s room in one of those “black site” terror-suspect prisons for Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
The wacko leader of Russia’s Liberal and Democratic Party has surpassed his earlier screeds with a misogynist attack on our secretary of state.
Speaking with Pravda this week, Zhirinovsky chastised Rice for calling on Russia to “act responsibly” in supplying natural gas to Ukraine.
The fascistic pol attributed that “coarse anti-Russian statement” to Rice being “a single woman who has no children.”….
“Complex-prone women are especially dangerous. They are like malicious mothers-in-law, women that evoke hatred and irritation with everyone. Everybody tries to part with such women as soon as possible. A mother-in-law is better than a single and childless political persona, though.”
A State Department spokesman told us Rice would not “dignify the article with a response.”
And why should she? What could she possibly add to Zhirinovsky’s self-portrayal as a compete, without-redeeming-qualities DUMB@$$? Yes, sometimes a picture really IS worth a thousand words, and Zhirinovsky’s verbal self-portrait certainly meets that standard.
Zhirinovsky has made no secret of his insanity in the past. Besides praising Hitler and encouraging the use of nuclear weapons, he has advocated Russia’s invasion and “reacquisition” of Alaska. To eradicate bird flu, he’s suggested arming every Russian and ordering them to shoot everything with feathers.
He’s also cozied up to Saddam Hussein (then again, so has Donald Rumsfeld), and he has his own brand of vodka, which, it would seem, he’s been sampling just a wee bit too much of.
