Houston pastor preaches iPod

A Houston pastor is putting a new spin on Apple Computer Inc.’s popular iPods, telling his Baptist congregation that the simple gadgets contain a religious lesson: Life can also be simple.

Yep, you know you’re in the Bible Belt when the preachers are reaching for anything they think will get butts in the seats. Somehow, I’m not certain that this is quite what Steve Jobs had in mind when Apple launched the iPod, but since there are currently about four people in this country who don’t have an iPod, it’s all good, right? Hmm…iPod theology…merely the latest sign that the Apocalypse is upon us??

This, of course, begs the question: What Would Jesus Listen To?
