Why? Bush won the election. It is his choice. Clinton won election, and an extreme left judge, Ruth G, was his choice. We didn't like it, but, Bill was the duly elected President. She was qualified for the position, no matter what her political leanings were.

Everyone has said Alito is qualified. But the Dems do not like his political leanings. Would you be complaining if Kerry had won, and was appointing far left Judges? I bet not. But, Kerry lost. Bush won. That is one of the perks of winning elections.

Ted Kennedy's remarks on this confirmation are the best arguments for term limits I've ever heard.

Peace activist Cindy Sheehan said she may consider a run for Congress if Sen. Dianne Feinstein doesn't join a Senate filibuster against U.S. Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito.

From the World Social Forum in Caracus, Venezuela, Sheehan issued a statement Friday announcing she had "decided to run" against Feinstein in November if the senator did not join the filibuster.
