Army Charges 7 With Having Sex on Video

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The Army has recommended that seven 82nd Airborne Division paratroopers be discharged following allegations they engaged in sex acts shown on a gay pornographic Web site. Three soldiers face courts-martial on charges of sodomy, pandering and engaging in sex acts for money.

Don’t ask, don’t tell, don’t bugger your buddy on a gay webite. Pretty simple concept, eh? Of course, this may just be a case of highly trained killing machines with way too much time on their hands, but you’ve got to wonder just what in the hell these maroons were thinking. I mean, they’ve got to know that the Army is not exactly the most gay-friendly organization out there, and they had to be aware that by buggering their buddies on cameria and having the video posted all over Da Interweb that they were jeopardizing their careers. Now they’re running the very real risk of being discharged dishonorably and perhaps even doing some hard time (no pun intended). Of course, the upside to going to prison is that they’ll probably meet many like-minded souls happy to make their acquaintance.

This is some DUMB@$$ AWARD-quality stuff, but the committee decided that these fools have already had their 15 minutes and then some. Enough is enough.

Someday, the US military will discover that Gays and Lesbians are only threats to the extent that they fear and hate them. Perhaps someday the four-star generals who rule the roost will realize that the time, money, and energy current devoted to “purifying” the military can and should be better spent on training and equipment. Maybe they’ll even realize that Gays and Lesbians can be just as patriotic and willing to serve as Heterosexuals, and that more than anything else they just want to be left alone so they can serve their country.

Of course, I’m not exactly going to hold my breath waiting for this to happen….
