Deaths reported in Mohammed cartoons protest
The state-run Libyan news agency, Jamahiriya, or Jana, reported on its Web site that the casualties occurred when protesters clashed with police. The public prosecutor has been asked to investigate the way police dealt with the demonstrators, the news agency said.
Well, it looks like the adherents of The Religion of Peace © have been at it again…and this time it’s getting out of hand. And the public prosecutor has been asked to investigate the police? HellOOOOO? WTF? Unless I’m missing something here, the police were not the ones rioting, burning, and killing, were they? Someone seriously thinks that the police are the problem? No wonder the Islamic world is such a f——d up mess.
Don’t get me wrong; I love the Middle East. Some of my fondest memories are of my travels through Syria and Jordan. But don’t think for a minute that the Islamic world doesn’t have things completely backasswards. Most Islamic countries are Third World economic basket cases run by despots, crackpots and/or outright criminals. Generally speaking, most governments in the Islamic world are probably quite happy about the Cartoon Jihad, because all of that destructive rage and disaffection isn’t being directed at those truly responsible for the miserable state of affairs in so many countries.
I’m sorry, but common, garden-variety rioting and murder is NOT the way to convince the West of the righteousness of your cause. It IS the way to convince us that you’re nothing more than a collection of murderous, whacked-out, intolerant zealots and thugs who care little for anything that doesn’t fit into their narrow, ignorant belief system. You give adherents of The Religion of Peace ©, most of whom are honest, reasonable, and respectful, a bad name. There’s only one place all y’all belong: in prison like the common thugs and criminals you are.
