33%...it has a nice ring to it, doesn't it??

Poll: Gas Prices, Iraq Weigh Down Bush

CBS) With gas prices sky-high and no end of the Iraq war in sight, President George W. Bush’s approval rating hits an all-time low in a new CBS News poll. Only 33 percent approve of his job performance, Mr. Bush’s lowest approval rating yet in CBS News polls. A majority - 58 percent of those polled - say they disapprove of the president. Mr. Bush appears to be losing support from his own party. His approval rating among Republicans has dropped to 68 percent.

Well, no one who’s been paying any attention at all should be surprised at Our Glorious Leader’s latest poll numbers. For those of us who believe in karma, this seems a perfect illustration of exactly what it’s all about. When you lie and engage in the sort of ineptitude and craven self-interest that has characterized Our Glorious Leader’s reign, can you really expect anything else than exactly what has happened?

It’s not exactly a stretch to come to the opinion that Our Glorious Leader really IS the Worst President Ever. It’s not just the clusterf—k that is the war in Iraq. It’s not just the lives lost and squandered by his lies and sheer ineptitude. It’s not even the rise in gas prices or the ill-considered debacle that is the new Medicare prescription drug plan. No, it’s all of this and so much more. Everything Our Glorious Leader has touched over the past five years has turned to crap. Man, how could 59,000,000+ Americans be so ignorant and undemanding that they could justify voting for a President who shouldn’t be elected class clown, much less the most powerful man in the free world?

Still glad you voted Republican?
