Sure, but can he tell us who's going to win the Stanley Cup?

Pat Robertson Predictions: Evangelist Says God Told Him Tsunami Might Hit U.S. This Year

(AP) In another in a series of notable pronouncements, religious broadcaster Pat Robertson says God told him storms and possibly a tsunami will hit America’s coastline this year. Robertson has made the predictions at least four times in the past two weeks on his news-and-talk television show “The 700 Club” on the Christian Broadcasting Network, which he founded.

Just as Presidents used to have a hotline to the Kremlin, so former DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener Pat Robertson seems to have a hotline to the Almighty. Where he had previously limited himself to political and moral pronouncements, now Robertson appears to be branching out into meteorology.

While munching on peyote buttons on a prayer retreat in January, Robertson apparently experienced a flashback vision that revealed to him what this year’s hurrican season would bring. If you think about it, this sort of thing could have significant financial consequences for Robertson’s ministry (How about poker prognostication: “For a small donation, I’ll tell you what God revealed to me about your opponent’s hand.”). Think of all the money people would pay to hear Robertson channel the voice of God when it comes to finding out what will happen in the future.

For now, being God’s Weatherman is probably a good place to begin, but being the enterprising sort that he is, you know Robertson isn’t going to be satisfied until he can milk his Divine connection for everything he can. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably Pat Robertson channelling his Divine weather forecast again.
