God is NOT a Republican

Most…Partisan…Invocation…Ever

Msgr Jim Lisante, a Long Island pastor and Fox News commentator, opened with a call to Republicans “to remember to love each other” and to Weld and Faso supporters not to “hate the other guy.”

That’s because “The other guy, whoever he is, is still better than Eliot Spitzer.”

Just when you might be forgiven for thinking that the clergy really IS a collection of loving, impartial, servants of God and Mankind, we run across a troll like Msgr. Dumbass Lisante. While no doubt a learned man of the cloth, Lisante seems to be completely ignorant of the reality that God is neither Republican nor Democrat (someone show me Scripture in which the Almighty counsels that a vote for a Liberal Democrat is a mortal sin), Conservative nor Liberal. Msgr. Lisante, by mixing partisan Conservative politics with his position as a representative of The One True Faith, has merely shown himself to be an ignorant, partisan troll like so many others on the Right who see no problems with inappropriately interjecting their narrow political views into moments that should be devoid of partisan political divisiveness- like an invocation, f’rinstance.

Jeebus, what a flaming dickweed….
