Jeez...and next they'll be courting the Minutemen

Karl Rove Courting Radical and Racist Hispanic Group (via Martini Republic)

Bush’s political advisor, and Senator Sam Brownback (R-TX), are planning to meet with the the left-wing, Mexican group La Raza next week. La Raza is considered by many to be a radical racist group promoting hatred towards the “Gringo.” In fact, La Raza means “The Race.”

You know, the folks at The Conservative Voice really should give some thought to investing in hiring a few fact checkers. I had NO idea that Sam Brownback was elected to represent the Great State of Texas in the US Senate. Uh, wait…he wasn’t…he’s from Kansas- and yes, there IS a difference.

Actually, this whole idea strikes me as rather humorous. The GOP has NO interest in anything resembling diversity. With them, it’s all about trying to convince minorities that Republicans really DO represent their interests. Their hope is to convince minorities by hook or by crook to vote Republican, and then once they’ve been voted back into office, they can and will continue doing what they’ve been doing all along. That would be representing and protecting the interest of the GOP’s rich, WHITE benefactors. (Implied message: The rest of y’all can go to the back of the bus…where y’all belong….)

So, while Rove and Brownback will take their dog and pony show to the Brown People, others in the GOP are incensed that Republicans are pandering to the Brown People- the very people that Republicans are committed to keeping out of this country.

Hey, come on, now…someone’s got to mow our lawns, pick up our garbage, and build our houses…..

Some Washington insiders believe that President Bush is continuing to make overtures towards Latino groups that advocate open borders and that many in the Republican Party see this as an opportunity to appeal to illegal aliens thereby garning a larger share of the Hispanic vote.

“While attempting to court the Hispanic population, the GOP appears to be willing to get into bed with a Marxist, racist bunch,” said Mike Baker, a GOP political analyst.

“This is something that should outrage the conservative base of the party.”

Right…’cuz if we stop hating Brown People, who will be left for us to hate??
