Man cuts off penis in drunken bet
A MAN who cut off his own penis in a drunken bet had it stitched back on by Latvian doctors, the first such operation in the country’s history. While strongly under the influence of alcohol, the 30-year-old made a bet with his friend for 1000 lats ($A2600) that he would cut off his penis, according to a Latvian public television report…. “We have had a few cases with penis traumas, when it was half-cut or damaged, but this is the first time that it was totally cut off - and brought to hospital in a plastic bag,” said microsurgeon Aivars Tihonovs from Gailezers hospital in the Latvian capital, Riga.
OK, so way back when, I made a solemn promise- no more severed penis stories…and I meant it. I really did. Really. Unfortunately, I’m a weak and deeply flawed human being…albeit (and thankfully) one still in full possession of his Johnson.
You know, there are certain words and phrases that just should not appear in the same sentence. Like “penis” and “brought to hospital in a plastic bag.” Combine that with “strongly under the influence of alcohol” and $2400 US and…well, let’s just say you’re not going to end up with a story you’re going to want to share with your grandkids.
Even with copious amounts of alcohol involved in this equation, you’d think that this poor fool (if I had his name, he’d be a DUMB@$$) would have held out for more than the equivalent of $2400. Then again, if someone is willing to separate himself from his manhood for a mere $2400, this might just be someone who’s better off NOT breeding, don’tcha think?
And people wonder why I no longer drink….
