Once a DUMB@$$, always a...ah, fuhgeddabouddit....

Rep. Schmidt’s marathon ad questioned

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Republican Rep. Jean Schmidt is fast, capable of running a marathon in 3 hours, 19 minutes, 6 seconds. At least that’s what a photo on the Ohio congresswoman’s Web site shows. No way, says a rival who contends that the picture from the 1993 Columbus Marathon is doctored and complained to state election officials. A four-member commission panel ruled Thursday that there was enough evidence to look into the complaint. State law prohibits candidates from publishing false statements designed to promote their election.

When you’re a liar and a cheat, eventually it’s going to catch up with you. Maybe not today, perhaps not even tomorrow, but someday, somewhere, you’ll get caught and you’ll be forced to own up to your deception (I need only to offer up Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader to prove this theorem). And when you’re held up to the public ridicule that you so richly deserve, well, you pretty much had it coming….

Thankfully, there are places in which lying can get you into real trouble. Ohio law, f’rinstance, prohibits the publication of false statements designed to enhance one’s chances of winning an election. So when former DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener Rep. Jean Schmidt posted a picture on her website of her crossing the finish line in the 1993 Columbus (OH) Marathon, one that she apparently and allegedly did not finish, well, you had to know that it was just a matter of time before the truth caught up with her. Hey, when you’re a hateful b—-h and uber-patriotic GOP tool, there are plenty of folks (like me, f’rinstance) that are just looking for an excuse and a reason to knock you down a peg or six.

The photo shows Schmidt near the finish line at the marathon with a time clock showing 3:19:06, which would have made her one of the top finishers. But a newspaper list of the top runners does not include Schmidt, said Nathan Noy, who is seeking to run as a write-in candidate against Schmidt.

Noy said he believes the photo may be fake and suggested that Schmidt never even participated in the event. In the photo, Schmidt doesn’t cast a shadow while other runners do.

Well, of course she doesn’t cast a shadow, silly. Schmidt’s a witch, and anyone with half a brain knows that witches don’t cast shadows…or is that Republicans? I always get them mixed up….

Joseph Braun, an attorney representing Schmidt, denied that the photograph is fake. He produced what he said was an official race results book, listing Schmidt as the fifth-place finisher in her age group with a time of 3:19:09 — three seconds slower than the time depicted in the photograph.

The time clock reflects when the photo was taken, not her official time, Braun said.

On her Web site, Schmidt, who is 54, said she has completed 59 marathons. In April, she received a public reprimand from the Ohio Elections Commission for claiming on her Web site that she had two college degrees when she had only one.

Yeah, and her degree is in public pandering….

Frankly, I don’t know nor do I particularly care when The Wicked Witch of the East Rep. Schmidt finished the 1993 Columbus Marathon. Given her attack-dog mentality and her willingness to do her party’s embarrassing dirty work of smearing their political opponents, I would love to see ANYTHING used to bring her down. Frankly, she deserves nothing less, and there ought to be, and hopefully is, a very special place in Hell for her.

Jeebus, what a @!#$(%& troll….
