Man, you just had to know that this was coming, eh? All this time, I’ve resisted the strong temptation to compare Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader to Hitler (out of respect for Jews and a desire not to triviliaze the Holocaust)…and he makes a fool out of me. Now, He’s the one employing the comparisons to Nazi Germany. Go figure….
I’m sorry, but if Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader can compare Osama bin-Laden to Hitler, then the gloves are off. Given that today’s speech rolled the version 5.0 beta of this Administration’s latest scheme to market the war on terror to the American Sheeple, no one should be surprised that Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader is pulling out all of the stops. Hmm… “Weapons of Mass Destruction” didn’t fly, nor did “Iraq was complicit in 9.11”. “Better to fight terrorists in the streets of Baghdad than the streets of Paducah” was a flop, and “Iraq is the front line in the war against global terrorism” didn’t pass muster, either. Now we have “Osama bin_Laden is Hitler.” What’s next…”The war on terror is a major bummer, dude….”?
It should be clear to anyone with even a minimally functional intellect that the war in Iraq is an absolute abject failure. Changing the packaging is hardly going to change the fact that the product stinks. You can prop a dead body up. You can dress it in an Armani suit. You can even give it a $450 haircut. In the end, though, you still have a dead body. Isn’t it about time Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader owned up to the fact that his war is killing Americans for no discernible purpose other than propping up his corrupt and morally bankrupt policy?
