Damn, that man's scary looking! And Jesse's a mess, too.

Seriously, I can't believe anyone is taking Kinky's candidacy seriously. A dilletante like him caused the disastrous loss of the presidency to BushCo in 2000. It seems clear that even though he stands no chance of winning, he's staying in the race only to further his own ambitions (selling more books?)and criticise the people in power. Criticising people in power is important in a democracy, but providing them with the means to stay in power at the same time seems a bit idiotic.

I don't think it's clear at all that "he stands no chance of winning".

If he gets half of the voters he is targeting, he could whip Perry's ass and Bell's too. Like Ventura, Kinky appeals to those who want nothing to do with politics or politicians and who rarely see the inside of a polling place. I think there are more of them than there are of us.

There are enough stupid rednecks here in Texas that he might make it. Last time I saw numbers he was ROUGHLY in a three way tie. Don't underestimate the stupidity of Texans.
