Picketers plan to protest victims’ funerals
Funerals are such an emotional time, especially when burying a young person. But sadly the Huntsville community is now dealing with a lot more than the pain this tragedy has already caused. Picketers with the Westboro Baptist Church out of Topeka, Kansas have obtained a permit so they can protest at the victims’ funerals….A main belief of the organization is that homosexuality across the United States is a sin that results in many tragedies.
Here we go again…the knuckle draggers from the Westboro Baptist Church, and they’re fearless leader, former DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener Rev. Fred Phelps, are at it again. This collection of inbred self-superior hatemongers has decided that they’re going to protest at the funerals of the children killed in this week’s tragic bus accident in Huntsville, AL.
If the Westboro Baptist Church is any indication, it would seem that hate runs in the family (80-90% of these dickweeds are related to Phelps), along with a complete and total ignorance of the teachings of Jesus Christ. These people are no more Christians than Newt Gingrich is a Liberal Democrat. Surely, Phelps and his merry band of inbred trolls can’t seriously be thinking that pouring salt into the wounds of the already grieving is a convincing way to win hearts, minds, and souls? Then again, they really are arrogant, insensitive, and ignorant enough to believe that they have the absolute right to do whatever they choose in whatever manner they deem appropriate. They’re the Enlightened Ones, and we’re all ignorant, damned-to-Hell heathens. Deal with it.
Christian love and charity…never mind simple human decency…seem to have no place in the WBC theology. Where most Christians believe their God is a loving, compassionate, and forgiving God, Phelps and his band of inbreds believe that God is an angry, vindictive son of a bitch with some serious anger management issues and tunnel vision.
If there’s any justice in this world, Fred Phelps and his fellow WBC inbreds have reserved rooms in Hell waiting for them. They deserve nothing less.
