Another DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener

Justices defend Florida recount decision

DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener #515: Justice Antonin Scalia

Scalia, answering questions after a speech, also said that critics of the 5-4 ruling in Bush v. Gore need to move on six years after the electoral drama of December 2000, when it seemed the whole nation hung by a chad awaiting the outcome of the presidential election….”It’s water over the deck ‚Äö√Ñ√Æ get over it,” Scalia said, drawing laughs from his audience.

Yes, the Florida recount controversy was six-plus years ago. No, the passage of time does not by default make what happened right. There are still many of us who felt then, and are still convinced, that Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © stole the 2000 election with the help of Katherine Harris and the US Supreme Court. That we cannot do anything about it at this point in time does not mean that we should simply “get over it” and “move on”- nor will we. While I no longer dwell on what I cannot change, I refuse to “get over it” and “move on”. The crime that was perpetrated upon the American public was without precedent, and if we do not remain vigilant, it could- and no doubt will- happen again.

Frankly, I resent that smug son-of-a-bitch Antonin Scalia acting as if they did the right thing and that those of us who remain angry and bitter about the Florida recount should just shut the Hell up. You may not want to admit it, and you may not agree with this, but the election in 2000 was STOLEN- plain and simple. That Scalia takes pride in his role in this criminal electoral travesty only proves what an arrogant DUMB@$$ he truly is.

I know that nothing can and/or will happen to change what happened in Florida in November, 2000, and immediately after. The tragedy is that so many were involved in the theft of a Presidential election and yet feel nothing close to shame over what their actions wrought upon what used to be a functional democracy. May those of you who had a hand in this electoral farce find a very special place in Hell waiting for you. And may Antonin Scalia bring his DUMB@$$ AWARD with him. If there were any justice in this world, it would be tattooed to his ass.
