Bigshot GOP Contributor Charged With Funding Al Qaeda
GOP moneybag Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari was indicted Friday for trying to send $152,000 to terror-training camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Alishtari is a member of the White House Business Advisory Committee and a “U.S. National Republican Senate Inner Circle Member for Life. He’s a DoD/Homeland Security contractor, obviously, and he claims to be best buddies with Dick Cheney! America, what a country!
Just when you might have begun to think that this Administration couldn’t POSSIBLY sink any lower, that they couldn’t POSSIBLY embarrass themselves any further with their sheer ineptitude and incompetence…well, guess what? Yep, that’s right; this Administration really is a barrel with no bottom, because just when you begin suspecting that they might have hit bottom, the freefall continues unabated.
If Alishtari was a Liberal Democrat, like, say…George Soros, and it was revealed that he was funding terrorist training camps, you can bet that hellfire and brimstone would be raining down from the heavens. BushCo would be sparing no expense or rhetorical excess to pillary Soros and put him in stocks in the village square- metaphorically speaking, of course. So why is Alishtari’s alleged duplicity a non-starter in the Mainstream Media?
Why? Because being a Republican means never having to say you’re sorry…especially if you donate large sums of cash to the cause.
