Damn...and the worst thing I had to worry about when I was in college was where I'd left my bong the night before....

Suicide Bomber Kills At Least 40 Near Baghdad College

blood.jpgThe sad aspect of this tragedy is that this sort of thing happens on an almost-daily basis now, giving it a sort of “ho-hum” feeling. Forty people blown to pieces, and it feels somehow mundane, simply because it happens so often. I’m saddened that we’ve become so numbed to such horrific recurring tragedy that it barely registers any more. More than anything, though, I’m saddened that my country is responsible for creating the environment in which such abject hatred and vicious, impersonal mass murder can occur so routinely. Praise be to Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader, who, if this were the aftermath of WWII, would be sitting at the defendant’s table in Nuremberg. In this day and age, though, he’ll get his own Presidential library, which will no doubt massage history enough to present this handjob of a President as a heroic, decisive leader who was committed to bringing freedom and democracy to the downtrodden people of Iraq.

Whatever….

STILL GLAD YOU VOTED REPUBLICAN??
