Landmark Legal Foundation Nominates Rush Limbaugh for 2007 Nobel Peace Prize

LEESBURG, Va., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Landmark Legal Foundation today nominated nationally syndicated radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. Limbaugh, whose daily radio show is heard by more than 20 million people on more than 600 radio stations in the United States and around the world, was nominated for the prestigious award for his “nearly two decades of tireless efforts to promote liberty, equality and opportunity for all humankind, regardless of race, creed, economic stratum or national origin. These are the only real cornerstones of just and lasting peace throughout the world,” said Landmark President Mark R. Levin.

Well, OK, then. If any $#!&-for-brains can nominate someone for a Nobel Prize, then I think I’ll nominate Dr. Josef Mengele posthumously. When you think about it, this makes about as much sense as nominating Rush Limbaugh. Sure, Limbaugh hasn’t killed anyone or used them for gruesome, inhumane experiments, but he has the same dictatorial temperament, the same absolute certainty of his convictions, and the same willingness to do whatever it takes to advance his cause.

What sort of whacked-out dumbass can honestly say with a straight face that Rush Limbaugh worthy of even being considered for a Nobel Peace Prize?

Apparently his name is Mark Levin.

“Rush Limbaugh is the foremost advocate for freedom and democracy in the world today,” explained Levin. “Everyday he gives voice to the values of democratic governance, individual opportunity and the just, equal application of the rule of law — and it is fitting that the Nobel Committee recognize the power of these ideals to build a truly peaceful world for future generations.”

Right; a truly peaceful world where rich, well-fed, White Conservatives rule the roost. Limbaugh cares as much for freedom and democracy as I do about what’s in Paris Hilton’s storage container. Rush Limbaugh cares about one thing and one thing only: Rush Limbaugh. With an ego the size of the Titanic, Limbaugh’s primary and only concern is with whatever portrays him in the best possible light.

Surely, common sense will prevail and the Nobel Prize Committee will refuse to punch Limbaugh’s ticket to Oslo. Right?
