Morally bankrupt, offensive, conceited...and built to stay that way

Coulter Calls Edwards A “Faggot” At Conservative Conference

Coulter: I Would Talk About Edwards But “You Have To Go Into Rehab If You Use The Word ‚Äö√Ñ√≤Faggot’”

Howard Dean blasts Coulter for calling John Edwards a ‘faggot’

Cheney, GOP prez candidates, called on to condemn Ann Coulter for calling John Edwards a “faggot” today

Speaking today at the Conservative Political Action Conference, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter said: “I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‚Äö√Ñ√≤faggot,’ so I ‚Äö√Ñ√Æ so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards.” Audience members said “ohhh” and then cheered.

In yet another stunning display of arrogance, ignorance, and bigotry that only she is capable of (well, OK, with the possible exception of Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin, Michael Medved…ad infinitum, ad nauseum….), Ann Coulter yesterday sunk to a new low…calling John Edwards a “faggot”. The sad part is that her audience- the Conservative Political Action Conference- cheered her monomanical lunacy. Yes, ladies and gentleman, this foul-mouth skank and her rhetorical bomb-throwing is more representative of today’s Republican Party than you might have previously thought. The lack of voices on the Right denouncing Coulter can, and should, be taken as an indication of just how much support Coulter has among Republicans.

When you start wondering why Coulter gets so much attention, you should keep in mind that she really does represent the views of a large segment of the Republican Party. It’s just that no elected Republican has the balls to say what she does. Coulter isn’t an elected official, so she’s not burdened by the fear of offending voters. She loves the attention, could care less about the feelings of others, and is completely convinced of the absolute correctness of her views. She’s also an attention whore, and she knows that her outrageous statements sell books and make headlines. I’d hazard a guess that Coulter probably isn’t all that concerned about selling books, but she’s TERRIFIED of being ignored…not that there’s any chance of that happening.

Jeebus, what a (&^%$#@ troll….
