Well, we have an update on Judge…and thankfully, it’s good news. The Best Dog EVER © has giardia. The “good” thing about his diagnosis is that giardia apparently sounds much worse than it actually is, in that it’s easily treatable.
Of course, the reality is that we have one sick puppy…and when your puppy weighs 80 lbs., it can get to be rather messy, as I learned yesterday morning. To look at Judge now, though, you almost couldn’t tell that he’s been quite ill. He’s energetic, he’s playful, and he has that bright-eyed, curious look in his eyes again. Judge is by no means out of the woods yet, and we’ll be medicating him for a few days, but if all goes well, he should be fine…which hopefully will lead to fewer piles of explosive diarrhea for me to clean up. :O)
