Maybe first prize will be impeaching The Worst President EVER

Public Punditry Contest!

Freewayblogger, Buzzflash, Michael Moore.com, After Downing Street and Skippy the Bush Kangaroo are looking for America’s Hottest New Political Pundit! Send pictures or videolinks of your Public Political Punditry to freewayblogger@yahoo.com Submissions may include Political Art, Speech, Theater or Text placed or performed legally in public under the protection of the first amendment. Suggested locations for public puditry include Parks, Libraries, and Town Squares… Doesn’t have to be a freeway. All physical artwork and signage must be easily removable from site: No Vandalism.

My intrepid and elusive compadre The Scarlet Pimpernel (“Over the last four years I’ve put over 4,000 signs against the war on the freeways of California and the western United States.”), is at it again. After spreading his message of freeway protest and seeing others pick up the torch, TSP is sponsoring a public punditry contest. Here’s an opportunity for all you frustrated, artistic Liberals with something to say and a bunch of paint and heavy cardboard to get it off your chest…and to a captive audience, no less. Given the state of rush hour traffic in Houston, there’s the potential that a whole lot of people could see your handiwork. And while first prize, sadly, isn’t an opportunity to cast the deciding vote on the Senate floor to impeach Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © , a visit from TSP ain’t all that bad, either.

This may still be “Bush Country” (yes, we do love a good bush, don’t we??), but there are a growing number of sensible types here who are no longer willing to ignore the reality of what The Worst President EVER © and his corrupt neoCon thugs are doing to this country. You’ll probably never see as many signs in the Houston area as you might in the Bay Area, but there are still people here who view Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © as the embodiment of Evil. And you just might begin seeing their handiwork along the Southwest Freeway or I-10 in the near future.

Winning entries will be chosen for the creativity of both their message and its delivery and will be posted on all the above blogs (and throughout the Blogosphere.) Winners will also have their city and state visited, noticeably, by The Freewayblogger over the summer.

Gentleman (and ladies)…start your posters!!
