Mission (not exactly) Accomplished

Bush admits that Iraq Had Nothing To Do With 9/11

Four years ago, King George the Worst © stood on the deck of the carrier USS Abraham Lincoln just off San Diego’s harbor and proclaimed “the end of major combat operations.” It’s a good thing, too, ‘cuz Lord only knows what the past four years might have been like if we were still involved in “major combat operations.” Then again, the loved ones of those killed in “minor combat operations” probably aren’t all that excited, because their loved ones are just as dead.

Four years of lies, propaganda, failure, and ineptitude…. Amazing, isn’t it…especially when you consider that 54,000,000+ of y’all VOTED TO RE-ELECT the incompetent jackass. Isn’t it about timed we impeached The Worst President EVER © ?? Or are you willing to “stay the course” and sentence yet more of our sons and daughters to horrible, violent, meaningless deaths?

(Here’s a question for all you know-it-all Chickenhawks out there: If Iraq had nothing to do with 9.11, then why are we there at all? And no, you can’t use the “war on terror” argument. There was no terrorist threat in Iraq prior to the American invasion that created the threat we’re not fighting.)

Sacrifices, if and when necessary, must continually be justified and proportionally to the risks and dangers faced. When those sacrifices involve the lives of our sons and daughters, we must be even more certain that the sacrifices being made are absolutely necessary. Can ANYONE honestly that the lives lost in Iraq have contributed one iota to increasing our safety and security here at home? Anyone with even a shred of decency and intellectual honesty would have to answer in the negative. If this war had been conducted in similar fashion by a Democratic President, the hue and cry from Republicans demanding immediate and summary impeachment would be heard from coast to coast- and they’d be understandably and perfectly justified in their outrage. So why is this not true with a Republican President??

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED? Sure, if the mission was the senseless, wasteful expending of the lives of our sons and daughters….

NOW CAN WE IMPEACH THE LYING, INCOMPETENT BASTARD?? Memo to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi: show some balls and some moral courage for a change, willya??
