This make so much sense that you just know it will NEVER happen

Stace over at Dos Centavos has a great post up about a fantastic idea for voter registration AND ID. Make Texas ID cards free and make voter registration automatic with getting or renewing a license or getting a TX ID card. No more separate cards and one simple database to handle everything.
