Another DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener

Arkansas GOP head: We need more ‘attacks on American soil’ so people appreciate Bush

DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener #596: Dennis Milligan

In his first interview as the chairman of the Arkansas Republican Party, Dennis Milligan told a reporter that America needs to be attacked by terrorists so that people will appreciate the work that President Bush has done to protect the country…. “At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001],” Milligan said to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, “and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country.”

H…O…L…Y…C…R…A…P!! Just when I’d begun to suspect that we’d scraped the veritable bottom of the intellectual barrel, along comes our latest DUMB@$$, who- you knew this was coming- is a Republican. And Dennis Milligan is no ordinary Republican. No, he’s the chief knuckledragger in the Arkansas Troglodyte Republican Party…AND HE WAS VOTED INTO THIS POSITION OF LEADERSHIP. This means that’s there’s more knuckle-draggers out there who not only think like Milligan, they’re willing to put him in charge. Yes, these troglodytes care about one thing and one thing only- political power. If more thousands of innocent Americans have to die for that to happen…well, they’ll no doubt just consider it a cost of doing business.

Milligan, who was elected as the new chair of the Arkansas Republican Party just two weeks ago, also told the newspaper that he is “150 percent” behind Bush in the war in Iraq.

In his acceptance speech on May 19th, Milligan told his fellow Republicans that it was “time for a rediscovery of our values and our common sense.”

Right; and it should only take a few more terrorist attacks on American soil for me to rediscover those “values and common sense.” For aren’t the lives of a few thousand innocent Americans a small price to pay if it permanently restores Republican leadership in this country and installs Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © as President for Life? After all, to paraphrase Khrushchev, one cannot make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, no? If a few innocents must be sacrificed to restore Republican ideology to it’s rightful position of leadership…well, so be it. Just as long as someone else (preferably Liberal Democrats) does the suffering and dying

Jeebus, what a (&^%$#@ DUMB@$$. We can only hope that Dennis Milligan will be one of those unfortunate Americans sacrificed to remind us of our true American values and common sense. Hopefully, his death will be a slow and excruciatingly painful one. At least justice would be poetic….
