Once a DUMB@$$...always Mitt Romney

Mitt Catches S—t Over Hillary-Bashing Sign

Not everyone is a fan of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but comparing them to one of the most dastardly pieces of human excrement of all time — that might be bit much. Especially for a presidential candidate. TMZ obtained photos of presidential candidate Mitt Romney trying to win over grammatically challenged South Carolinians Thursday by holding a sign that said, “No to Obama, Osama and Chelsea’s Moma.” Maybe he just doesn’t like modern art?

I’ve grown weary of dispensing DUMB@$$ AWARDS upon Mitt Romney. It’s become far too easy these day. The man has become a caricature, a Republican whose campaigns seems to run on sound bites, talking points, and simplistic pronouncements. It would be nice to hear Romney discuss issues without the conversations descending into meaningless quips, slogans, and silly Republican aphorisms. Of course, that would mean that Romney would have to speak off the cuff, and I imagine that his handlers probably live in mortal fear of him going off the reservations. When your candidate is willing to smilingly endorse this sort of simplistic crap, it’s not difficult to understand their fears.

Yeah, it would be nice if Romney could actually discuss issues without immediately descending into sound bites and simplistic, meaningless bon mots, but when all you have to offer is an image, I suppose there’s nothing else he can do. If you want substance, you’re not supporting Romney to begin with. If you want a President who looks good in a suit, smells good, and has perfect hair…well, Mitt Romney’s your man. If you want a President who can occupy and point on the ideological spectrum and make it sounds as if he’s been there his entire life, Mitt Romney’s your man. If you want a President willing to do or say anything to gain your support…well, yes, Mitt Romney IS your man.
