As a person who has been arrested in strip clubs by vice cops about a dozen times I have a tiny bit, not much, just a tiny bit of sympathy for the republican senator. They would arrest us at election time to make the voters think the city was truly safe, clean etc. When there were no upcoming elections we worked without fear of the police.
When I pulled my arrest record there are only three arrests out of a dozen on my record. At no time was I nor any of the other dancers convicted. It was always thrown out of court.
So my sympathy for the republican senator is only that I know very well you can arrested for doing nothing illegal, never marandised, held for any length of time even if someone wants to bail you out.
I don’t know anything about public bathrooms for men. I am looking around for my gay friend to explain the hand gestures & foot taps. I hate to be uninformed and unsophisticated, G-d forbid!
