Yeah, I know; I’m as tired of the endless, mindless, thoughly bollixed-up war against terrorism as any of y’all are. I’m tired of the ridiculous lengths to which we must go and the ever-increasing invasions of privacy we must endure just to enjoy the supreme privilege of getting on a flying cattle car an airplane. I’m sick to death-of the fear mongering. I’m fed up with the cheap patriotism and the emphasis on symbols…as if flag lapel pins contribute anything at all to the war on terror.
