Former Congressman Henry Hyde dies
Word comes today of the passing of former Illinois Republican Congressman Henry Hyde. Known for being a Conservative, “family values” Republican, Hyde spearheaded the Republican drive to impeach former President Bill Clinton for his sexual indiscretions. In doing so, Hyde managed to conveniently forget his own history of adultery and sexual indiscretion, thus cementing his legacy as a hyocrite of the first order. While my condolences go out to Hyde’s family, who no doubt loved him, I can’t say that his passing saddens me. As uncharitable as this may seem, I hope Hyde discovers that he has a reservation in Hell awaiting him, where he’ll be surrounded by Democrats who will serve as a constant reminder of his own hypocrisy and naked partisanship (no pun intended).
Henry Hyde was a (&^%$#@ hyprocrite, a miserable excuse for a human being, and I’m not about to mourn his passing. Good riddance, and may he roast in Hell.
