I just happened to stumble across this post yesterday from a link on the Houston Chronicle’s editorial page. I must admit that, even though I essentially no longer have any relationship with my family (my choice), these folks make my moerately dysfunctional relations look positively the freakin’ poster children for sanity and social adjustment.
Whenever you begin to dread spending the holidays with your family, keep in mind that things could always be worse. You could be Julie and be saddled with her family; for these folks dysfunctional would have to be considered an upgrade.
