After a cold, damp, and rainy weekend here in Portland, I awoke to about an inch of snow outside my patio this morning. Now all I have to do is to hope I can make it to work intact, because no one here has a clue about driving in snow and ice. Beaverton, where I live, is at about 300 ft. above sea level, but there are parts of the city as high as 1500’, and those areas are blessed with steep, winding roads, which ought to make this morning’s commute a whole lotta fun. And to think I almost found an apartment up there….
I’m going to enjoy this while I can. Most of the snow will probably be gone by early afternoon. On Wednesday, I’m flying to Houston for a week, and the chance of seeing snow there is about the same as me waking up reincarnated as Tom Brady. Yeah, like that’s going to happen….
Happy Monday, y’all!!
