And the troglodytes shall always walk among us....

Lejeune commander: Stay away from protesters

“God hates the U.S. Marines,” the group said in a statement…. “The wonderful, spit-and-polish Marine [Lauterbach] is over eight months pregnant and says another wonderful Marine raped her, and ‚Äö√Ѭ∂ now she turns up dead,” the statement reads. “Based on our extensive experience with Marines for over a decade, we can testify that these are typical Marines.”

Yes, I suppose it IS better to be thought an ignorant, intolerant zealot, and an unreconstructed fool than to be Fred Phelps and remove all doubt. Then again, Phelps and his merry band of inbreds from Westboro Baptist Church really DO put the “fun” in Fundamentalism, don’t they?

In their latest act of pseudo-Christian lunacy, the WBC losers are planning on protesting at Camp Lejeune, NC, in the aftermath of the murder of pregnant Marine Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach. Man, these trolls never seem to be able to pass up an opportunity to pour salt in the wounds of the grieving, do they?

In an act of supreme common sense and self-preservation, the base commander has ordered her troops to neither approach nor confront Phelps and his band of idiots. I’ve been around enough Marines in my life to know what a few of them would do to these folks given the opportunity. They would absolutely dismember the fools and cherish every moment of it…and who could blame them?

So who died and appointed Fred Phelps as the arbiter of who God hates? And why shouldn’t the Marines be allowed to disassemble him and the rest of his misguided and hateful followers? Hell, I’d pay to see that….

Sometimes, free speech really IS offensive speech, isn’t it?
