Like you didn't see this one coming....

Bush budget won’t fully fund Iraq war

The White House confirmed Wednesday that its new budget next month will not request a full year’s funding for the war in Iraq, leaving the next president and Congress to confront major cost questions soon after taking office in 2009.

I’ve refrained from saying this previously, but I’m sick and tired of politely dancing around the edges. Those of y’all who voted for Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © ought to be ashamed of yourselves. No, you may not have pulled the trigger on his lies and propaganda, but your support has enabled him to continue spreading his lies and dominionist propaganda and murdering young Americans unabated for the sake of his legacy. If this seems angry, it’s because I am. Any fool with even half a functional intellect could have seen this one coming from miles away. The Worst President EVER © is announcing that he’s going to dump the mess that he created into the lap of the next President. And how long do you think it will take before Republicans are blaming a Democratic President for the clusterf—k that is the never-ending war of attrition in Iraq?

This sorry excuse for a human being President doesn’t even possess the moral courage to try to clean up his own mess. No, on 1.20.09- almost six full years after the start of his Excellent Adventure in Iraq © - it becomes the property of President Barack Obama or President Hillary Clinton. To make matters even worse, it will be only a matter of weeks or months until Republican propagandists and Right-wing talking heads have propagandized the American sheeple into believing that Iraq is the fault of the new President.

Of course, White House Press Secretary Dana Perino and her merry band of spinmeisters are furiously channeling Josef Goebbels. Their argument is that the next President should be the one to make funding decisions regarding the war in Iraq (the easier to find ways to blame for the clusterf—k, of course), and they don’t want to tie the hands of the next Chief Executive. It’s a nice way of saying that they’re sick of dealing with Iraq, and they’re more than happy to pawn the decisions off on the next President. Never mind that the next President’s first term will be almost completely consumed with undoing the damage done over the past two terms of BushWorld.

Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves.

WE DESERVE BETTER.
