Apparently, political sites around the world are suddenly all atwitter- not about the war in Iraq, world hunger, AIDS, or even the specter of radical Islamofascist-sponsored terrorism. No, folks are beside themselves wondering if randy French President Nikolas Sarkozy’s girlfriend/wife/paramour/love slave is…mmm, how you say? With child? Amazing; the guy was divorced…what, about 20 minutes before he was already squiring Carla Bruni around like some sort of trophy? Hey, he could do worse, I suppose. It would have been nice to at least let the ink dry on the divorce decree, don’tchathink?
Realistically, though, on the scale of things to obsess over, doesn’t this rank down there with, oh, I don’t know…Lindsey Lohan’s tawdry, cocaine-fueled lesbian tryst with Britney Spears in a back booth in a Burbank Dunkin’ Donuts? There are real problems in this world, and political sites are debating whether or not Carla Bruni is showing off a “baby bump”?? WTF? And then you wonder how a knuckle-dragging moron like Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © can get himself elected Lord of Darkness President? Here’s your sign….
Personally, I don’t care if Carla Bruni is auditioning for a role in “Alien IX: They’re Back- And They’re Pissed”. Can we PLEASE talk about something that actually matters?
