Time changes everything, no?

It’s been interesting watching events develop as the Democratic primary season has progressed. We’ve gone from Hillary Clinton’s “inevitability factor” to Barack Obama’s “momentum”. Now, the conventional wisdom seems to say, if only Obama had more time, he’d be assured of ruling today, Super Tuesday. Then again, today we’ll get to see just how much “mo” Obama really has these days- even if the “smart money” seems to be betting on Obama.

I will free admit to my support for Obama. As tired as I’ve grown of “change” as a the mantra of the moment, change is EXACTLY what this country needs. And it appears the this sentiment is shared by a growing number of Progressive Americans who’ve grown tired of politics as usual.

Today’s the day, y’all. If you live in a Super Tuesday state holding a Democratic primary, now’s your chance to make your voice heard. Vote. Express yourself. Let America know that you’re ready for a change. No, Obama isn’t going to magically turned America into the Shining City on the Hill (apologies to Ronald Reagan for stealing his imagery), but you can bet that things will be different with him in the Oval Office. Isn’t about time?
