Time to make a difference, y'all....

If you happen to live in one of the 24 states holding primaries tomorrow, you have a chance to make a difference by helping to determine the future of this country. You can maintain the status quo by voting to perpetuate the Bush-Clinton dynasty, or you can set this country on a new path by voting for Barack Obama. I believe that the time for change is here, and Super Tuesday is the last, greatest chance prior to November 4th for Americans to step up and make themselves heard.

I endorsed Obama back in August, and my admiration for him has grown steadily since then. I have little doubt that Hillary Clinton would make a good President, but she can’t hold a candle to Obama’s ability to inspire. Either Clinton or Obama are far superior to the two remaining intellectual and moral midgets vying for the GOP nomination. I will strongly support whoever eventually wins the Democratic nomination, but that will not stop me from believing that Obama is the candidate more likely to take this country in a different direction. He’s the only candidate who’s made a solid commitment to get us out of Iraq, which is Job One as far as I’m concerned. I’m not enamored of his health care plan, but overall I still believe he’s by far the best choice to lead America.

If you live in a Super Tuesday state, be sure to get out and vote. Participate. Make your voice heard. Make a difference…and perhaps we can finally begin the process of putting the past seven-plus years behind. It’s about damn time.
