Today's sign that the Apocalypse is upon us

Gennifer Flowers is putting the tapes of her recorded conversations with Bill Clinton during their 12-year affair on the auction block, Vegas Confidential learned Monday. Flowers, who came forward during Clinton’s 1992 Presidential election campaign with details of the relationship, said she decided to part with the tapes after renewed interest surfaced. She was offered $5 million by a Japanese collector in the 1990s, she said. Asked about the timing of her announcement coming out as Hillary Clinton continues to slide in her presidential bid, “I don’t need to hurt Hillary. She is doing a fine job of that herself, along with her idiot husband. Karma is an interesting thing. If these two don’t get elected, and they are a team, it will be karma coming back to visit them. It’s about time.”

One unfortunate side effect of Sen. Hillary Clinton running for President is that it’s riled those single-celled organisms who reflectively despise all things Clinton- particularly Bill Clinton. These folks will ford every river and climb every mountain if there’s even the slimmest chance of embarrassing the Clintons. Man, though troglodytes must be having multiple orgasms over the news that Gennifer Flowers is putting her alleged tapes of conversations with the former President up for bid. Oh, and Flowers is also exploring the possibility of a tell-all book that promises “explosive story additions to the Clinton affair”.

Whatever….

WIll someone PLEASE remind why- or even if- Gennifer Flowers is considered newsworthy?? Outside of the titillation factor (and the opportunity to further humiliate Hillary Clinton), how is anything she does even remotely worth wasting column inches on?
