Do YOU realize that the 4000 dead spoken here is just 5 years in Iraq? Do you also realized that there are military deaths that were declared non-combat related and are not included in this grim number? This doesn't include deaths in other combat or non-combat operations in other countries or global accidental deaths. If you were really going for a Bush vs Clinton death count, the number of deaths during the Bush era would easily overtake the number during the Clinton era. Sadly, the Bush era isn't over until Jan 2009.

Dave - you do remember, I assume, the howl the Republicans put up when Clinton tried to kill bin Laden at the height of the impeachment hearings, don't you? "Wag the dog", they called it. But now we know that Bill Clinton came a lot closer to killing bin Laden than George W. ever did.

I don't think you really want to get into comparing the two administrations. But, for starters. you might also do a little Google research and see what Clinton's personal approval rating was at the height of the Republican-led impeachment hearings. It was twice what George W's is now.
