Sorry, Bob…but Ron Paul is an ass….

So, when do we invade?

It's not about invading; it's about doing the right thing. Even if a resolution is a paper tiger, what is so wrong with taking a stand against repression? Or is Ron Paul so inflexibly attached to his ideology that it blocks out the merest glint of humanity?

Now if there were OIL in Tibet, you can bet your bottom $ Bushie & Co. would launch a force to "liberate" it.

I love it when Leslie's right ;)

I figure Jack will agree with Ron Paul's ideological YES vote on this resolution:

Impeaching Richard B. Cheney, Vice President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors.

Resolved, That Richard B. Cheney, Vice President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors, and that the following articles of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate:

Articles of impeachment exhibited by the House of Representatives of the United States of America in the name of itself and of the people of the United States of America, against Richard B. Cheney, Vice President of the United States of America, in maintenance and support of its impeachment against him for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Article I

In his conduct while Vice President of the United States, Richard B. Cheney, in violation of his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of Vice President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has purposely manipulated the intelligence process to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States by fabricating a threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction to justify the use of the United States Armed Forces against the nation of Iraq in a manner damaging to our national security interests...

@Leslie,

There's oil, gas, and all the minerals you can think of to be found in Tibet. That's why China is currently 'liberating' Tibet.. The question you should ask yourself is what Bush & co would do if Tibet wasn't annexed by China's CCP but Saddam or some such dictator without a million man army.

Oh, gee, and if only it had been a unanimous vote, we could have prevented everyone in Myanmar from suffering one little jot. Ron Paul is so cruel!

Oh, sorry, this wasn't this month's kvetching about Myanmar, but last month's kvetching about Tibet. Well, same thing: If only the vote had been unanimous, the Communists would have backed out of Tibet immediately. Such an opportunity wasted!
