Noblesse oblige is not a valid reason to run for President

Bill’s Tirade In Private Meeting Stuns Superdelegates

According to those at the meeting, Clinton - who flew in from Chicago with bags under his eyes - was classic old Bill at first, charming and making small talk with the 15 or so delegates who gathered in a room behind the convention stage. But as the group moved together for the perfunctory photo, Rachel Binah, a former Richardson delegate who now supports Hillary Clinton, told Bill how “sorry” she was to have heard former Clinton campaign manager James Carville call Richardson a “Judas” for backing Obama. It was as if someone pulled the pin from a grenade…. “Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that,” a red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton erupted. The former president then went on a tirade that ran from the media’s unfair treatment of Hillary to questions about the fairness of the votes in state caucuses that voted for Obama. It ended with him asking delegates to imagine what the reaction would be if Obama was trailing by just 1 percent and people were telling him to drop out.

Man, whodathunkit? Who would have suspected that Bill and Hillary Clinton were such immature, self-absorbed, self-important, poor losers? No, Sen.Clinton hasn’t yet officially lost the Democratic nomination, but, the math being what it is I have a better chance of being elected Miss America…and you do NOT want to see me in a strapless gown.

To call former Pres. Clinton’s outburst unseemly and inappropriate would begind to do justice to the sense of noblesse oblige that seems to be the Clintonistas raison d’etre. These folks really DO seem to think that they were to the manor born. Unbelievable….

The sad thing is that for a long time I really did have an almost boundless admiration and respect for both Clintons, which is now completely gone. This primary campaign season has revealed both to be petty, mean-spirited, liars with an air of entitlement about them. To call me disappointed wouldn’t begin to do justice to the depths of my disillusionment with two people who really could have (and should have) used this campaign to burnish their previously-stellar reputation for political acumen.

Say goodbye, Hillary; it’s time for you to go. WE DESERVE BETTER.
