It seems the New York Mets are conducting a poll on their website to choose their 8th-inning sing-along song (apparently, Sweet Caroline was already taken). Not being known for leaving well enough alone, the reprobates over at FARK are trying to write-in Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. Personally, I would have gone with Cyndi Lauper’s ode to female masturbation, She-Bop…which, if you can stand to watch the entire thing, has got to be one of the dumbest, most pointless music videos of ours or any generation. Then again, for a Mets game…well, it seems just about perfect.
