Good things come to those willing to live in the moment...right??

schroeder.jpgHave you ever found yourself in the midst of something that you'd really like to help along...but you know that you can't because sometimes the only thing you could really do would be to (&^% things up? Yeah; don'tcha just HATE that?? While I'm well aware that patience and the willingness to livie in the moment are virtues, that doesn't mean I have to enjoy the idea. Sometimes, I feel as if I've done nothing BUT learn lessons over the past few months. And then there's the whole idea (which I've committed myself to) of living in the moment. A nice concept, but somewhat more difficult in execution, no?

No, I'm not going to go into details, 'cuz this is my sandbox and I get to keep whatever secrets I see fit to keep...and besides, sometimes a little mystery is a good thing, no? OK, so I know that allowing events to unfold as they may is the wisest course, because I know that there's only so much in this life that I have any "control" over. Sometimes you really do have to just let go. I get that. But, damn...does that mean I have to like it? Patience may well be a virtue, and I understand that half the fun is getting there (wherever "there" happens to be)...and there are probably a few more cliches I could toss in there if I were so inclined. The bottom line, though, is that sometimes, no matter how much you might wish otherwise, some things are simply beyond your ultimate control. You'd think that I, Mr. Laissez-Faire, would be embracing this concept. Yeah, right...sounds like someone needs to find a diversion, no??

Man, this whole "living in the moment" thing is going to turn out to be WAY harder than I might have otherwise thought, no?? ;-)
